The precinct includes the existing Roman Catholic Church and Municipal Hall and is adjacent to the Town Landfill (to be reahbilitated as sports fields) and the (yet to be built) Shayamoya High school. New Facilities include a Health Unit for ARV roll out, Pop-in centre for the aged, Catering and Feeding Kitchen, Pre-school (in the old Church), New Church, Training Centre (building trades and computers) and Administration.
An internal 'street' runs across the site connecting the High School and Hall with the New Church. Secular buildings are north of this street while the church is south. Buildings are modest and simple and emphasis is placed on the 'in between' spaces -
- the Pre-School Playground.
- the Central Courtyard.
- the smaller Courtyards off the service buildings running up the site.
- the Waiting Courtyard to the north of the site.
- the Public Square between the Church and the Hall.
